About Project Flex

Project Flex is the name of a one person general consulting firm.

At present I am working as an independent consultant with no employees. (This may change.)

I have been working in both foreign firms and domestic Japanese firms in the Tokyo area for over 25 years, with a focus on financial services and technology projects.

I am fully bilingual in Japanese and English with the ability to communicate across departments, offices, and countries on technical subjects.

Contract on hourly, daily, or monthly basis


Geographic region is Tokyo area/Kanto with other areas possible. (If you are outside of the Tokyo region, please let me know where you are.)


I intend to bring the disciplined approaches expected from consultants with the flexibility to take on ad hoc work that is expected from regular full-time employees.


I can learn a new technology to work productively on your project (cloud technology, your ERP system, your proprietary applications, etc. ).
